Automotive company Jaguar Land Rover is trying not to deviate from the trend of international manufacturers and is also looking for various ways for the introduction of electric versions of their cars. So, starting in 2020, new cars will be more or less equipped with electric installations.

The first electric vehicle will go on sale next year. It will be a crossover model of Jaguar from I-Pace, which will be able to overcome almost 500 km without recharging. The car will be equipped with all-electric "filling" with a total capacity of 400 horsepower.

As for electric cars, Range Rover PHEV, he will get a petrol 2.0-liter engine and electric motor. The crossover can travel about 50 km without the connection of the gasoline unit. Installed transmission has automatic switching the eight speeds.

The company's management said that models such as the Jaguar XJ, XF and F-Pace will also be equipped with the hybrid engine. Due to this, the emissions of these cars will decrease considerably in accordance with European standards. It should be noted that the development of hybrid installation was done by experts of Jaguar Land Rover, which are thoroughly worked to enable them to compete on the world market. And the main rival Range Rover PHEV experts call model BMW X5 xDrive40e, but its power is somewhat lower than the British car.
