Seat is going to produce charged electric cars

Spanish brand Seat is trying to keep up with global vehicle manufacturers and to keep up with the times. Recently, it became known that the company Seat, which is owned by the Volkswagen group, plans to produce electric cars. Moreover, these electric cars will be somewhat unusual - their productivity will be much higher than in the normal electric vehicle.

According to one of the representatives of the Spanish company Matthias Rabe, the new car will receive the prefix in the name "Cupra", which will hint at the special "energy" machine. He also said that the release of such vehicles is very important for the manufacturer. Electric cars will have unprecedented characteristics for these machines.

At the moment it is not known when will appear the first model Cupra and what their characteristics are. It is assumed that the first car Seat on electric will appear before the public in 2019. The car will build on the design of the MEB, designed for electric models and was developed by VW engineers.

In addition, it is known that the Spanish manufacturer plans to start the Assembly of its models with a hybrid power plant. Manual Seat claims that such machines well will be in demand in global automotive markets.
