The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is preparing a decree according to which motor carriers of passengers will need to install the license plates are yellow. However, such numbers will be issued only to those businesses that have a license.

Issue yellow license plates is scheduled to begin from September this year. And this will involve not only public transport (buses, taxi), but taxi. This information was confirmed by Deputy Minister of infrastructure, Yuriy Lavrenyuk.

In particular, he says that at this point there is agreement with the interior Ministry about what should be a series of preventive measures against illegal carriers. The introduction of the yellow licence plates falls into this topic. The introduction of the yellow room will allow passengers, for the police and other agencies to distinguish between an official of the carrier licensed from illegal.

Lavrenyuk also added that the car Hauler with yellow room is responsible for the safety of passengers. The Ministry of infrastructure supports the liberalization of passenger transport and considers that the main purpose of the new law is to improve the quality of services in this area and to improve transport safety.

In addition, the Deputy Minister said that the role of the applicant for the license plates may be any automotive enterprise or private entrepreneur. After got the license, it is sent to the service Department of the Ministry of interior, where after paying certain amount obtains the corresponding license plates are yellow.
