Materials and tools

• Clean rag.
• Degreaser.

Floor dismantling

Of course, soundproofing the floor of a car begins with disassembly:

• The first thing to remove from the cabin is the seats.
• Next, we disassemble the central tunnel of the checkpoint.
• We unscrew and remove the lining on the door sills.
• We remove air ducts.
• Carefully dismantle the floor covering.
• We also take out foam pillows.
• Then we remove the factory soundproofing.

Now let's get to work with the floor:

• First of all, the floor must be cleaned of dirt, debris and thoroughly degreased.
• After the floor is dry, apply the first layer of the vibration damper over the entire surface. At the same time, we warm up the sticky side with a hairdryer and roll it to the floor with a roller. We do not allow the appearance of air bubbles.
• With the second layer overlap apply Shumkov. We also roll.
• After that, we assemble all parts of the cabin in the reverse order.
