Do-it-yourself soundproofing of Lanos doors

Earlier, we already introduced you to how to soundproof the trunk of Lanos and the ceiling . The time has come to get acquainted with the Shumko door Lanos and you can do it as efficiently as possible.

materials

To work on soundproofing car doors, you will need:

• Vibration isolation Shumoff M2 - 40 sheets.
• Silencer Shumoff Germeton A15 - 3 l.
• Degreaser.
• Screwdriver.
• Rags.
• Building hair dryer.

Disassembly

The doors of Lanos are disassembled quite easily and there should not be any special problems with this.

Front:

• The bolts under the pockets are unscrewed (2 on each door).
• A screw in the door handle and also in the speaker area.
• Then the casing can be pulled towards you, we take out the edging of the door handle for opening and the plug of the exterior mirror.
• We unscrew the speakers, remove everything superfluous.

Rear:

• From below, two screws are unscrewed on each door.
• Then the bolts in the door handle.
• The window handles are removed.
• We pull the door trim towards ourselves, remove the edging of the opening handle and the corner cap.

Sticking and assembly

After the door is disassembled, it is necessary to remove possible dust and dirt. Further in this order:

• Degrease thoroughly and let dry.
• On the cards we glue vibration isolation Shumoff M2.
• Apply a second layer of sound absorber. It is also recommended to process the fastening clips of the door cards.
• Then we apply a vibration isolator to the doors themselves (into the inner part of the outer wall of the door).
• We also glue the outer part ("panel" of the door) with a vibration isolator.

On this, the Shumka doors of Lanos are almost finished, it remains only to install the speakers and other parts in place and attach the door trim.
