Key items that require regular maintenance

Here’s what you should definitely check and replace:

• High-voltage battery and cooling system: State of Health (SOH) diagnostics, monitoring the Battery Management System (BMS) and cell condition, checking the coolant level and quality. Coolant replacement — according to the manufacturer’s recommendations (typically 4–8 years).
• 12-volt battery: The conventional auxiliary battery powers the electronics. It should be checked and replaced every 3–5 years.
• Braking system: Thanks to regeneration, pads wear more slowly, but brake fluid is still recommended to be replaced every 2 years. Inspect discs and calipers — annually.
