Soundproofing process

The work on soundproofing the luggage compartment should be carried out in the following stages:

• To begin with, the contents of the trunk are emptied, and the lining, including the covers, is disassembled.
• Then we clean it of debris and dirt, we perform degreasing.
• Before starting work, it is advisable to cut out patterns from materials according to the required dimensions.
• After that, we apply vibration, warming it up with a hairdryer and carefully rolling it with a special roller. We make sure that there are no air bubbles.

It is worth noting that when processing a niche for a spare wheel, it is necessary to use a moisture-proof material.

• Glue the trunk lid in the same way.
• The second layer is soundproofing. It is applied with the sticky side and also rolled with a roller.
• In addition, it is also possible to process the plastic sheathing from the inside with noise, and tie the joints and wiring with an anti-creak.
